About Abundo – A Tribute to South Africa

South Africa is more than just a place—it’s a feeling, a way of seeing the world, a shared understanding that only fellow South Africans truly get. From the slang we use to the traditions we cherish, there’s something special about being part of this culture.

I created The A-Z of ZA as a way to capture that. As someone who loves both design and storytelling, I wanted to make something that celebrates the everyday things that make South Africa home—whether you’re here or halfway across the world.

Abundo means “plenty” or “abundance,” which feels fitting. South Africa has given us plenty of stories, plenty of memories, and plenty of reasons to stay connected. This print is a small way of holding onto that—something to spark nostalgia, start conversations, and remind us of the little things that make SA unique.
